Is this your first visit to Cape Church of the Nazarene? Then start here!

Here we try to answer some of the common questions people have before they visit us in person. On this page you can watch a sermon or video, learn about our vision and mission, and find out more about how we can help you grow more like Christ, serve each other, and share our stories.

Q: What is Cape Church of the Nazarene all about?
A: We have three main goals that we want to achieve:

Q: What time is church?

Worship COVID-19: Cape Naz will be transitioning to online worship gatherings only starting at 10:45 am, March 22, 2020. You can watch and interact with our worship at

A: Church starts at 10:45 in our sanctuary. It's a good idea to arrive a little early, maybe around 10:30. This will give you a chance to grab a bulletin, get some coffee, and let our Welcome Team show you around!

Q: What is a worship gathering like?
A: We're pretty casual here!  At the same time, we don't take the fact that we have gathered to worship God lightly. During our worship gathering, we pray, sing, read scripture, and fellowship with each other.  We do this as families; so we let the kids be kids!

Each week Pastor Jason teaches stories and truth from the Bible in an interesting and real-life way! We focus on simple truths that will help you live a Christ-centered life.  You can watch some of our sermons on our Vimeo page.

Q: What do I need to wear?A: Whatever you feel comfortable in! Cape Naz has some people in suits and ties. We have others in shorts and t-shirts.

Q: What about my kids or teens?
A: Your kids will love our Cape Naz Kid's Church!  After corporate worship (right before the sermon), we dismiss kids and teens ages 0-8th grade for age-appropriate classes.  We currently have 4 classes for your kids and teens: Nursery (0-2), Preschool (3-K) and Elementary (1st-4th).  Middle School and Junior High students have their own unique class in the youth room.  You can find more details about our classes here.

Q: What do you believe/affiliation?
A: Cape Church of the Nazarene affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. You can find more about the denomination, their beliefs and their statement of faith here.
